One of the beautiful things about having a GPS is that it sends you on some of the most back-ass-ward ways imaginable.

When arriving the Salzburg, I positioned us to the famed mountaintop fortress that overlooks the city. What I was not expecting to happen was that the GPS would send us up this ancient road for pedestrians!!!   Once we headed up it, there was no (and I mean no) way back down the way we came. We even had to pull the exterior mirrors in so that they wouldn't scrape the walls. Get this after getting yelled at all the way up the mountain (by the sleeping beauties in the back ) they wouldn't go up to the fortress doors because the walkway was covered with ice and the walk was steep.

So after some decent video moments (check these out as well!) We headed down the mountain and enjoyed the city of Salzburg for about an hour and a half longer than anticipated. (That was because we didn't know how the hell to escape the town!)

Off to Munich!
