Jorge tells us that Ollantaytambo is connected to the Alpha & Beta Centurion star system The Lllama constelation in the Southern Hemisphere sky carries messages from us to the Milky Way. The Ollantaytambo ruins are shaped like a llama on the mountainside; the little town however is shaped like an ear of corn & the structures are the kernels.
Legend says the space brothers came with the corn & instructed the people to plant it & harvest it for 7 years without eating it. After seven years, it could be distributed to the 4 directions for planting & eating. We bought an ear to try in the marketplace & it is definitely "intergalactic corn"!!!! The kernels are huge, like the size of lima beans & it tastes more like a bean than the sweet corn found in North America.
Entering the ruins, Jorge showed us a ceremonial room with fountain. On the summer solstice, the sun rises & shines down the water channel into the fountain & make the water look like it is shimmering & luminous. It illuminates & bathes whoever is standing near with light & reminds us that we are light.
There are many portals here - they are for learning to see through dimensions or learning to move through dimensions. We got to try a few...extraordinary experiences in the group. Especially the huge slab that allows one to see into Mother Earth.
There is an observatory wall which is carved to indicate the solstices & equinoxes at sunrise. A large Apu (mtn peak) facing the wall has an Incan profile (with headdress) way up near the top. On the summer solstice, the sun shines at the point of his nose. At night, the Pleiades star system is visible at the point of his nose. Another place shows a condor shape in the mountain. I am including photos for perusing..
We went to a ceramicist's studio before leaving to come back to Willka t'ika. His name is Pablo Seminario & he can be found on the Internet: pabloseminariourubamba.com
He talked to us briefly in his studio & then we toured his gallery. I only bought something small so it could be wrapped snuggly in my clothes & hopefully make it back to the US without breaking. He said he was approached by the Chicago Field Museum & has work there. I will look for him while there next month with Nancy.
This afternoon, Carol Cumes, the founder/owner of Willka T'ika is going to give our group a tour of the Seven Chakra Gardens here at this retreat. I will make another entry for that, as I anticipate beautiful pictures.
