It's been difficult getting to Córdoba to say the least. The road from Cafayate to Tucuman was closed (because of the snow) which meant going back to Salta first. Annoyingly, this meant adding 5 hours to a journey that was already 12 hours long.

Regardless, we arrived in Córdoba with raised spirits; this is the second largest city in the country, and is a university town filled with students. Unfortunately, once we stepped out of our hostel we realised that the pedestrian streets were filled with shopping malls and restaurants and there wasn't much to do. We ended up in the shopping malls on the today and I found a pair of jeans for Buenos Aires.

On the other hand travelling in a group is starting to get tiring. Everyone I have met so far is great but I need to spend some time alone, and this probably means doing my own thing in Buenos Aires for a while. It's also a lot more expensive as I can't always choose the cheapest restaurant or the grubbiest hostel.
