The Amazon was amazing! It was the best forest I have ever seen. It was so dense and loud (meaning never quiet), always something making noise whether it's crickets, rain, or birds - its never quiet. There was lots of wildlife there too, except sometimes you can hear them and they seem really close but you can't see them because it's too dense to see them. But you see lots of cool bugs and frogs like Leopard Tree Frog (my favourite one) Rain toads, and Ecuadorian Poison Dart Frog, and some small ones I can't remember the name of. We saw millions of birds and heard even more, two snakes, coral snake and X-viper both deadly and some iguanas and geckos.

When we first got to the village the culture was cool. It was all about hunting, it wasn't really a dancing and singing culture. They used Blow Guns and Spears to hunt. Blow Guns you take the dart made of wood and wrap cotton around the end of the dart. Then you suck on the cotton to make it stay in place. You take a piranha jaw and use the teeth to put a circular shape around the tip. This is for if the monkey gets hit he will pull the dart out so the circle will loosen the tip off so it is easier to break so it will make him break the bottom half off so the poison on the tip stays in him and 5 minutes later he is a dead monkey. How to put the poison on the tip. First you scratch of this bark from this vine it is called i forgot the name of it oops, but anyways you put it in a basket then you put water into the basket then it comes out like a tea. You boil it and put it on the tip. Once you are done you load it in the bottom take a big breath and blow as hard as possible.

We met some new friends: Ignacio, the film maker, future National Geographic worker, Indiana Jones. No seriously he's got the hat and the whip. We met Nicole, The potty mouth, Travel Agency worker and the explorer. Also we met a new tour guide Xavier, the great guide, and father of a 5 year old.
