Less than 24 hours to go!  Started packing last night! (although we have been thoughtfully thinking of what we will take for months).  Our wonderful neighbour came over to help us ready the house for the renter that will be moving in.  I don't think we would be as ready as we are without her!  The pets are all off to their caregivers later this morning.  Neighbours have graciously agreed to take care of Spike (Aiden's Bearded Dragon) and Nim and Penny (Caleb's geckos).  My grandfather is caring for our totally deaf senior dog.  So....after trying to put everything into my pack, a lot of it has to stay behind.  Starting with my travel yoga mat that still takes up too much room.  I read on someone else's blog that before embarking on a Round the World Trip, you should lay out everything you think you might need and then take half.  I now know this to be true.  I will have to survive with one less tank top, T-Shirt and pair of pants than I originally thought.  Jim still has yet to try to shove all his belongings into his pack, although I already told him I don't think it will fit!  The boys' packs worked great!  They are taking less clothing - since they don't change their T-shirts on a regular basis now, I guess that won't change on our travels!  Okay - off to do last minute house clothing and laundry!
