So this is my last post from the ship! I can not believe that our voyage has flown by so fast. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was getting on the MV Explorer in Halifax. It is amazing to look back and see all the things that the Lord has taught me and shown be. He has been so faithful and has blessed me in so many ways. I am truly thankful for the places I’ve been and the impact they have had on me. I feel like I have been changed. Ship life/ Semester at Sea life is quite different from life at home in Memphis or at Vanderbilt. It has many perks but it also lacks some of the things that I have grown accustomed to at home. So, I decided I would make a list of the things I will miss from the ship and the things that I am most excited for when I get home... Here they go:

Things I will miss on the ship
-being rocked to sleep
-Angelito and Achilles (my AWESOME cabin stewards) cleaning up after me
-long chats at dinner
-breakfast next to Archbishop Desmond Tutu
-getting ready for a new port all the time
-Don Kimmel (my sweet biology professor)
-sitting up on the seventh deck between classes
-sunsets
-looking out to nothing but blue water
-being able to use seasickness as an excuse to nap ALL the timee
-being able to dress like a hippy and no one cares…
-my roommate, Evania
-my precious Bible study and all of their friendships
-my breakfast club (Heather and Brittney) and our constant quest to master the art of peeling a hardboiled egg
-Edgar and Mesriam, our dining room friends
-tutoring Lyla and Rachael
-SO many more things

Things im excited for when I get home
-pink peppermint yogurt/ice cream from yolo and sweet ceces!
-real diet coke. Not coke light
    -my family
    -friends
    -movie theatres
    -Television!
-watching the oreilly factor and the middle
