So I had been warned that the bus was an experience. I was totally prepared to get a running start and hope that "Diane" was unable to keep up. I had thought about how I would feign sadness when she was left standing in a haze of diesel fumes.

No such luck.

We got to downtown. “Diane” had to eat again…again…really? We went to a hole in the wall place. The food was just okay. After lunch we walked around. There were lots of shops. “Diane” confided in me that she was not much into fashion.

ummm you don't say. I never would have guessed that.

 I took a bunch of pictures…of everything…too many for “Diane’s” taste. She let me know it numerous times. We talked a bit and she explained that coming downtown was interesting for her but she wasn’t really into museums.

“If you want to go to a museum that is something that you will have to do without me” she said.

I hope San Jose has 25 museums…
