It is West-Sikkim.We came directly from Mongpoo, a beautiful himalayan hamlet where poet Rabindranath Tagore came several times before his death. It was The Daserah day, of course a festival day in India. We got our vehicle two hours late. Then we started for Pelling. Most of our journey was beside Teesta, a strong and Unpredictable river flowing down the massive Himalayas.We reached Pelling after a five hours journey and checked in a very familier hotel. And we saw the KANCHANJANGHA, so close we cannot believe. The next day we saw meny tourist site, like Rimbi falls,Rock garden,Khechipedi lake, Pemiangshi Monastery, etc. But above all rose the magnificent kanchanjongha,Janu,Kabru and Pandim.
