The mesmerizing sunrise from the comforts of the suite was an unforgettable experience.
The perfect start to the day was followed by a sumptuous breakfast at the resort. The resort offers a buffet breakfast by the poolside restaurant.

We generally enjoyed the weather and the resort and only after lunch decided to sight see a bit.

Tip - Don't drive your own car. Hire a cab. Arrange the cab with your hotel.

They offer 3 hours to half day tours to see the various points around. We hired a cab and did a short tour after lunch to see the various points. This specific tour focussed on the main points like the arthur seat point. There are other points in the vicinity like Elphinstone point, castle rock point etc. The views are magnificent and reminiscent of the views offered in the Grand Canyon.

Tip - You need to walk quite a bit to see all these points. Not very recommended for seniors. Most of these points offer the same valley views. It would be useful to stop at a couple of points only on way to the last one.

More specific details of these points are available on other internet sites.

Beware of quacks who will claim to be 'face-readers' and chase you until you stop and listen to them.

We stopped over at Bombay point known for its sunset and then made our way to the market area. This bustling bazaar is full of clothes, handicrafts and other curio shops. They also sell a lot of strawberry ice-creams and juices. Strawberry is grown in abundance in Mahabaleshwar.

We then went back to the hotel which had organized some shows like a live band, mimicry etc much to the delight of the kids in the resort. This was followed by a fantastic buffet dinner.

This day was thus spend generally relaxing and enjoying the resort and the food it offered.
