We met some great locals, Rosemary and Shawn, and Mario an Italian from Australia. It was a fun night of talking Italian food, dancing and Kim punching someone in the face.
To set up the scene Kim and I were hanging out with Mario, Shawn and Rosemary. At the restaurant there was a table of eight French Army soldiers. the soldiers were there training the Vanuatu Army, who knew Vanuatu had an Army.
At one point Kim and I chatted with them and they spoke mostly French so we didn't get far so we went back to hanging out with our new friends Mario, Shawn and Rosemary. Kim was taking a picture of Mario and me when one of the French soldiers picked up Kim and threw her of his soldier out of the blue. Kim quickly reacted as he was running toward the water to toss her in. Kim started to punch him in the face and eventually he put her down and retreated to the bathroom because blood was trickling down his face. Kim caused damage!
Kim taught the French a lesson, he never picked her up again. Eventually it was all water under the bridge and over the next few days everything was good and we were all friends.
