Today I got to milk the cows. It was hard at first, but then I got the hang of it. After milking the cows, we had breakfast. Then Scott, Negar, Keon, Pedro and I went horseback riding. During the horseback riding, we saw an armadillo and a tarantula. Pedro tried to catch the armadillo but it didn't work. The tarantula was about the size of the palm of my hand. I was able to ride the horse as fast as I wanted. It was also neat because we got to ride in a huge field, without any path. After we went horseback riding, we had lunch (the food is really good here). After lunch was siesta. Siesta is an afternoon nap that people in Argentina and Uruguay do regularly. Personally, I don't like siesta because you need to rest or sleep or do something quiet and there is nobody to play with because everyone is sleeping. After siesta, we went horseback riding again. The horseback riding was even more fun this time because we got to round up cows. We had to chase the cows with our horses into big groups then take them back to the estancia. Rounding up cows is hard because sometimes the cows don't cooperate and they go out of the group. We have to chase them back into the group. After horseback riding, we had a snack then we went to feed the cows. After we fed the horses, it was dinner time. During dinner, the kitten jumped on my leg and it startled me. Here they eat dinner very late, at about 9 or 10 o'clock. So after dinner, we go straight to bed.

Seth & Naomi on

Hi Armaan,
Great video. We think that is you in red, Keon in blue and Pedro in purple? Looks like it was a lot of fun. We are getting caught up on your blog tonight and reading your entries instead of a bedtime story. It makes a great bedtime read! Have you thought of turning this into a book?
Hey, how's it going?

Hi Seth and Naomi. You are right. It is me in the red, Keon in the Blue and Pedro in the purple-ish. That is a cool way to catch up on my blog. Speaking of catching up, I am really behind on my blog.

Room 207 on

Quite a few of your classmates have gone horseback riding.
Is it hard to control the horses when you ride?
Have you named the kitten yet?
