We definitely did not fool this oppressive heat wave that has been bearing down on Europe by trying to escape to Amsterdam - It has followed us here & it is god-awful hot!!

Simply put - Today was MISERABLE! The heat was too much to take & I honestly don't know how we survived walking around the city as long as we did. It made quite a few of us feel very sick after a while.

Today we spent most of our time out in the suburbs of Amsterdam documenting new houses that have been built over existing docks. The houses are beautiful, so do not forget to check them out in my gallery.

Other than that, we basically just tried to seek shelter from the blazing sun & stay hydrated the best we could. It was a very looong and tiring day...
