The second day sure started off unlike the 1st day. My multiple alarms went off and the next thing I noticed was Jason calling me on the phone. It was 8:45am, OH CRAP! I told him that I would be down in a couple of minutes. FYI, out tail lights for today was 8:45. I jumped out of bed and threw on my clothes. No need to take a shower since I took one the night before. My shirt had to be buttoned as I RAN down the stairs to the front lobby. Everyone was lined up and in the trucks out in front of the hotel. It was like a walk of shame, if you have ever had one before. Me being the new guy and not showing good face on the 2nd day was not a good thing. I jumped into one of the trucks and said nothing. When we arrived at the Bass Pro Shop most people came up to me and said that Jason is very strict about the tail light times. I sure found that out the hard way. After we were settled in for the day Jason came up to me and asked, "Are we going to have a problem like we had today, again?" I stated that he will never have to worry about it again. From now on I will be ready to go at least 30 minutes before we leave in the morning.
So my shoes arrived today. Yes my shoes. Before I left to go on this tour I had to get "hiking shoes" from Merrell. The shoes are $100 shoes, but I needed them ASAP. So I had to order them online with overnight delivery. The only reason I ordered them from an online retailer was due to the fact that I was not able to din them anywhere in Orange County. So the shoes arrived, but I should have bought them at the Bass Pro shop. It would have saved me the $25 it cost me to overnight them. Oh well.
