Happy Tuesday everyone. We had a fun and jam-packed weekend here in Lima. I apologize in advance for the lack of pictures right now, but I will get them posted as soon as possible. Thereīs a ton of good ones so check back later!

Saturday was our last clinic, we just did it in the morning before lunch. After 5 and a half days of this clinic, we saw and treated about 1500 patients. But more importantly than that, we had five baptisms this week. The Spirit showed up this week, fo sho.

Later that night, we hit the road to go to Downtown Lima. And we felt like we were in a different country. Such a culture difference for a 45 minute drive. Our first stop there was a tour of a Cathedral. NO PHOTOS. They made that pretty clear. I know this īcause I decided to break that rule and was chased down by angry Hispanic ladies insisting I delete the pictures. They were aggressive! I felt very violated. Youīre church wasnīt even that cool, lady!

We ate dinner and then headed to a park full of water fountains. And for those of you who would think that a park with ONLY water fountains would be kinda boring, you would be right.

But I will say that I had the more fun there than I had had all week! Solely because of the last fountain. It would spew out water at random times and places in no particular order and the point is to dodge the bursts of water and not get wet. And we FAILED. Big time. We were drenched, but after a while, we just embraced it and had a huge water fight. I havenīt laughed that hard in a long time. And the best news, I finally got my first shower of the trip!

Sunday we went Mira Flores, which is another city about 45 minutes from Lucyana. This place was like NYC. Pretty cool stuff. We ate at a restaurant called Parqueqitas, and some of us got to eat alpaca, which is a llama. THAT stuff was delicious. It replaced anticucho as the top spot of my favorite Peruvian food list. Then from there, we went to the Indian market to do some touristy shopping. I went a little overboard, I will admit, but I bargained like a hoss and got some pretty awesome stuff. Wonīt reveal everything I got īcause I donīt wanna ruin any souvenir surprises for anyone who may be reading this. But I conquered that market. I even showed off some musical talent with Luis and a street performer. So I was magician AND musician this week.

Thatīs all for today, next post will cover yesterday (Monday) and today. And then we get to Machu Picchu! Super pumped. Alright, adios amigos.
