Ahhh, here and settled in!  We spent much of yesterday (Sunday) resting and meeting Leon's friends and family!  (PS...Happy Belated Father's Day to all the Dad's out there) :-)

It was so nice to finally see Leon with his family!  It reminded me how truly blessed I am to have grown up so close, and remain as such, with my family.  The pictures attached to this entry mark the first time in five years that all five of them are in the same room!  (To my family, I cannot imagine this)!

First we went to visit his friend Shaul who is a hairdresser (he does runway shows where he cuts hair - "creatively" on the spot) the last show he had was in front of 1,300 people!  He is very sweet and was so excited to see Leon.  We spent a god part of the day driving around Tel Aviv and site seeing and that afternoon Leon's Ema (mom) made Schnitzel, salad, couscous, and bread which we ate with hummus (yes, Karen, this has become my staple food)!  :-)  Eating with his familt proved to be entertaining because they all speak Hebrew, Spanish, and English so there's a mixture of all of them in every conversation - I loved it :-)

Following dinner we met Leon's best friend Yossi, his fiance Tali and Shlome.  We hung out for a bit and then we went out to GoGo Beach with is a bar/club right on the ocean in Tel Aviv - it was so much fun and absolutely gorgeous!  I had my first Israeli beer, which was dark and there we all talked and caught up.

A Monday Hello
Just got back from a show in TN so I'm behind in posting. Glad you had safe travels across the waters. Thanks for sending the pictures, we really enjoyed them. Sounds like your quite busy and not much time for 'down-time'. Tell Leon 'hi', bet he's estatic about seeing his family. Stay in touch, be safe, have fun and ENJOY!

Love ya,
Dad & Donna
