Barichara is a bit like Villa de Leyva, whitewashed buildings, craft shops, all around a lovely main square. We visited a few churches and had an icecream to relieve the heat before getting the bus back to San Gil.
After a siesta we went to the park there and saw lovely trees with the hanging moss, some budgies and a red squirrel. I prefer mine, personally! xxx
