We saw a bunch of D-day museums and sites in the past few days. One point still covered with huge craters from the Allied bombing. Bridger loved running up and down them and jumping over old bunkers. It's funny that things tend to be closed more often than not in Europe. On Sunday, even the huge supermarkets are closed, you can't get lunch after 2pm, and you have to make sure you shop for the next day before 8pm. It seems these guys like quality of life more than money. Wierd.
