Last minute business trip brought me to Curacao; my other home. It has been many years since I last visited this island, but my memories were fresh. Vera decided to join me at the very last minute - shocking, but very very nice. She desparately needed a getaway and some relaxation time. So while I worked she laid at the beach and soaked in the sun rays.

I did take one day to show her around the island visiting my old schools, my old home, beaches, restaurants, and so on. Everything was great until we checked-in for our flight home. Our flight which was scheduled to depart at 8:40pm finally departed at 4am. What can I say .... sooooo Curacao! By the way - don't ever travel on DAE airlines. Horrible horrible horrible!
