This was my first time in Bangkok. It was absolutely not what I expected. What did I expect? Well I guess I expected a sleazy brothell type city as is normally depicted in western movies.

I was able to take a half day tour that allowed me to see / visit quite a few places including: The Grand Palace, the Golden Buddha, The Emerald Buddha, and the humongous Lying Buddha.

My tour guide "Tiger" made the trip really enjoyable. If I get to visit here again I will definitelly visit the Bridge over the river Kwai, which regretfully I did not have the time for this time.
