As we had no kids with us this weekend Vera and I took advantage and made a quick overnight getaway to Key West. The weather forecast called for spotty showers and southbound we encountered such, however northbound the following day the weather was hot, hot, hot. Not a drop of rain anywhere.

We stayed at the Albury Court Hotel (http://www.historickeywestinns.com/the-inns/albury-court/), which is a boutique hotel in Key West's historic district.

We walked for several hours throughout downtown Key West and did some bar hopping, but the best bar by far was the Flying Monkey Saloon (http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-flying-monkey-key-west). Next time you are in Key West you must try it out! You can thank me later.
