Rusty and I are going to repeat the USA Four Corners Motorcycle Tour. We completed this ride in August 2008 in an X cross pattern. This time we shall box the country, similar to the cover picture I posted for this blog. Dates are tentative, but we plan to ride in June this time. Stay tuned for further updates.
May 2012
Vera and I are purchasing a new house, and therefore I will have no $$$$ to make this trip this year. I am VERY dissapointed about this, but have asked Rusty that we postpone this to 2013, which is now the plan. Time to save save save.
November 2012
Rusty and I have narrowed down our travel dates to June 2013. As stated before we plan to box the country this time crossing from East (Madawaska, Maine) to West (Blaine, Washington) over the Trans Canada Highway. 7 month countdown has commenced. :o)
January 2013
Rusty had to have surgery on January 18th to have his ACL removed / replaced. He will be out of commission for several weeks. Sure hope his recovery goes well. 5 months and counting .....
February 2013
Well, it is not meant to be this year. Rusty had to take additional time off from work to recover from his ACL surgery, which means that he will not have the time to take off for this motorcycle trip. I was considering doing the ride on my own, however we came up with the plan to make a shorter ride this year. So we will now be riding to the Grand Canyon and back, with a few stops in between. This ride is now postponed till next year, and a new blog is created for the Grand Canyon ride. Next update on this ride will be sometime early next year :o(
