Rusty (my brother) and I were both in Los Angeles for business and decided to take a few extra personal days to ride from Los Angeles to San Francisco and back on rented motorcycles.

We rented our bikes from Eaglerider in Marina Del Rey (http://www.rental-motorcycle.com/namerica/usa/california/los_angeles_rental.html). Rusty got a Honda ST1300 and I got the Kawasaki Concourse 1400. Both were phenomenal bikes.

This was the first time for either of us riding in California. Rusty invested in some MAD MAPS (http://www.madmaps.com) that were great as they showed us the best curvy / twisty roads to take. The scenery was breathtaking, and this by far has been the best ride I have been on. A definite must do again.
