. We then headed back to Cusco after another long but enjoyable day. If we thought our day was over, we were far from right. We had a shower and a bit of a chill out back at the hotel before heading down to Paddy's to grab a feed and a few beers. Well what started as a few beers with our two new mums turned into happy hour, a random bar and a 430am finish. Not to mention some horrible salsa dancing from us. Not the best idea the night before we fly to the amazon but well worth it as another quality night out.
Steven Hawking came back from his first date in 10 years.
His Glasses were smashed, he had a broken wrist, twisted ankle and grazed knees.
Apparently she stood him up.
A Baker Abroad
After exploring probably the most famous Incan ruin the previous day we yet again rose early to head to this time explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We met our guide and headed up past a nearby ruin Saqsay Waman or "sexy woman" as it is affectionately known. After this we headed on to an animal refuge where they rescue animals from the black market and illegitimate owners. We saw many awesome animals and also had our photo taken with 2 condors. We bought some small items from the gift store and made a donation before heading onto the town of Pisac to place our lunch orders. I went for the double alpaca cheese burger which was delicious. We then headed to the nearby Pisac ruins to see the largest Incan cemetery in South America. The ruins also provided amazing views of the surrounding mountains. After this we headed back to Pisac to have our previously ordered lunch and check out the Pisac markets where I bought yet another painting and a beanie. We then headed to Ollantaytambo to climb the 350 steps to the Temple of the Sun to watch the sunset and again take some amazing photos
