Tuesday came and it was time to head off early on my day trip to yosemite. A long but thoroughly enjoyable day in the national park taking rocks formations, waterfalls and all round breathtaking views. Definitely a must do!
Tuesday night should have been a quiet one before heading to San Diego on Wednesday but somehow I ended up on the pub crawl and it was a big but good night out. Feeling a little secondhand I jumped in my transfer to the airport ready for my next stop on the californian trail.

A Baker Abroad
So after an eventful few days in Vegas it was time to start my Californian adventures in the lovely yet cold city of San francisco. I arrived at my hostel in Downtown around lunch time, checked in and headed off to explore Pier 39 and fisherman's wharf. I spent a very enjoyable afternoon by the water having some local seafood, watching the world famous sea lions, laughing and being amazed by the local street performers and finally exploring the aquarium at pier 39. Around dinner time I headed back to the hostel, had a clean up and headed down stairs for a few quiet ones. It wasn't long before I made some mates around the pool table and we ended up heading out to a few of the local pubs on what turned out to be a fairly late but enjoyable night. Sunday was a understandably slower day with most of my time spent in the downtown district, in and around market street. Monday I went exploring the rest of San francisco with highlights including the golden gate bridge, haight-ashbury and the ferry terminal
