Not much of a tale for this one. Mantova is a small town about 40mins south of Verona which used to be run by the Gonzaga family before the Austrian took over in the 1700's (don't quote me on the year) an has four main piazzas that make up the town. I jumped on the train south which took around 50mins from Verona and got happily lost for around 3.5hrs aimlessly wandering the streets of the quaint town. I didn't take my camera with me on this visit so there is only one photo I took on my phone.
Not far from Parma or Bologna it is a nice place for a day trip. It is also the town to which Romeo gets banished in Romeo and Juliet.
The evening news is where they begin with "Good evening" and the proceed to tell you why it isn't.
