We had a very early start to the day - 7:10am! We were off to the train station for our 4 hour, 3 train journey to Teplice nad Metuji. The time went by pretty fast, and before I knew it we were in the countryside surrounded by nature! We grabbed some lunch and then started our 6km hike through the national park. There is a 1.5km trail to a 4.5km loop, which is where the fun really starts! Along the first part of the trail is a climb to a lookout point. It is about 300 steps (on stairs and ladders) to the top. They should really tell you how many people can fit at the top because it is rather small and quite precarious! But the views are stunning!

We thought this part was really good, but then it got even better! We started on a boardwalk that was surrounded by giant rock formations that reached up to the sky! They were beautiful! At some points there were signs that pointed to different formations that told you what to look for, like a turtle or a guy with an ice cream cone. We could see some of them, but we decided you needed to be on drugs to see most of them. We also saw some brave mountain climbers along the way. The whole hike took about 3 hours, and it was absolutely beautiful.

Our guest house prepared a BBQ for us for dinner. My vegetarian option came with fries and fried cheese :) By this time I was really, really sick so it was off to bed
