' a Jim Carrey narrated documented. Overall the experience was great she really enjoyed it, and loved the big screen, excellent sound quality and 3D. I certainly recommend everyone tries it at least once. However, like some other things here in Cebu and probably all over the Philippines, its priced at the higher earners. At 250php, for a 45mins film it certainly is not good value for money. Due to the price, the cinema had only 8 people watching in a mall packed with people due to the department store having a 3 day sale. I am certainly not the sharpest tool in the tool box, but surely if the price was lower more could afford to visit, therefore greater numbers would attend and therefore more profit, and not a loss as i assume the iMax makes at the moment.
Plus the price of 250php is only an introductory price for the Under the Sea movie, soon it will raise to 270php, therefore pushing the experience past the pockets of all but the medium and well paid filipinos, and richer foreigners. Standard movies are 400php GOSH twice the price of a normal movie.
