Arriving at the port of Ubay, there are two ferries one goes to Bato, Leyte and the other goes to the Massin. The ticket booth for the Bato ferry, is run by a guy whom couldn't even take his feet from the table when we arrived. The Super Shuttle ferry was a custom made booth, and a very effiecient guy running it. Needless to say looks can be deceiving. Whilst the ferry ticket offices were two different approaches, one layed back doesn’t care, the other efficient and custom built. The reverse could be said of the ferry. The Ubay Bato ferry was new looking ship shape and freshly painted, the Super Shuttle Ferry looked like it would sink any moment, which was the ferry we were on. Needless to say we obviously didn’t sink, however docking at the far end was a little haphazard.
