Where I stayed
The Blue Pot Family Resort
Lite Line Ferry Ride.
Now tired and annoyed at the cost of the previous nights stay, my gf and I headed to the port for the Argao to Loon Lite Shipping ferry, my 9th ferry journey. When we arrived we parked our bike next to a bike packed similar to ours in fact it probably had more bags on it, although we were two up. The only guy there with some form of uniform on approached my gf and I and took the registration of the bike, and asked my name. Worryingly, he tapped it into his cell phone. Why worringly, well i brought my bike from Solid Motors Mandaue in April last year, I got the plate for xmas but there's now paper work to support the new plate all the paperwork has the temporary plate number on it, so i have retained the temp plates.....there is also no 'sticker’ saying its registered for a year. I had heard stories of people being turned away from places because there registration was invalid....The ferry arrived and the small array of bikes and small vans rode onto the ferry as the others rode off....Then the ferry departed, it was docked for less than ten minutes an incredibly good turn round time. I was confused and surprised, we had not paid. So we took our seat on the ferry and settled down for the 2hours journey. The ferry was in good condition, very ‘painted’ and it seemed like a very efficient operation, all the guys knew their jobs and where to be and when. The journey was uneventful apart from the ticket guy waking me and asking me for money, damn so the journey wasn’t free !! It cost us 665php for the bike, rider and one passenger, a fare price, if u pardon the pun. We arrived at the port of Catagbacon, Loon (Looc), just a short ride from Loon town centre; My GF and I rode down the concreted road way towards our ultimate goal of Tagbilaran City.
