Wow what a way to spend a special day like today in a beautiful part of the world, Tuscany.
 
Awoke to a coffee and the most beautiful necklace that Bruce got made for me in Rome, and ventured over to the main house for breakfast of bread, cheeses and meats etc.

We hit the road and headed towards Castellina in Chianti a lovely village and continued on to Radda in Chianti (see pics) a most beautiful little ancient village. We then continued on to Volpaia (way up in the hills of Tuscany) where we had lunch of home made ravioli (awesome) and veal involtini (rolled beef stuffed with cheese) yummy !! washed down with a couple of glasses of local Chianti red which was all so very wonderful.

I think Brucey has organised a chef to come in to villa tonight to cook me dinner so will have to have a little siesta before then. Will post more pics of dinner later.
