Where I stayed
el pino camping
19th October 2008
Camping El Pino, Torrox
Cloudy and warm
I've finally manged to get the WEP key for the bar wifi and eventually got in, so hopefully once I'm fully recharged I'll be able to get in and load up all my photos.
Dave has gone off on his bike for a blast in the hills. I know he gets frustrated by the fact that I'm a bit of a slow coach AND of course there's no competitiveness where I'm concerned.
The campsite we are staying at has a lot of British 'snowbirds' staying, plus the shop, bar and restaurant all seem to be run by Brits. I just KNOW they are going to be doing a Sunday roast today just as they do fish n chip nights, as well as bingo, quizzes and shopping trips to Gibralter. Mmmm, roast lamb and all the trimmings, sounds good to me, but we'll probably have egg and tomato sandwiches :(
We've had a bit of an equipment problem since getting back to Spain. The Alpkit mats (self inflating) have decided to go down gradually, one more than the other. Could be a puncture (or it could be the valves) but it's difficult to check for punctures as there is a such a big surface area, we really need a bath full of water to plunge them in and since we don't have access to one of them it'll have to wait till we get home.
