So we survived the nightlife in Mykonos. We got in and decided to lay out at the beach so by the time we got to the main center it was already past sunset. We just ended up walking around and checking out all the shops. Let me tell you its not that big but you sure can get turned around and lost in there. I think we passed some of the same shops a thousand times. We ate at this really good crepe place and then headed out to find a place to have a drink at before we went to the infamous Scandinavian Bar that Cynthia talks so highly about. We ended up getting at the bar around 11:30 and it still wasn't that busy but we decided to stay anyways and get a drink out on the main patio area. Which lead us to meet this scottish guy dressed as a clown. He ended up being pretty cool. He just travels around all over Greece and preforms in the streets. He has been traveling around since he was a kid and at this point he knows about 8 different languages. Later that night we also met a young Italian guy that didn't know a word of English so the clown ended up being our interpreter for the night. It was actually quite amusing. We only got about less then 4 hours of sleep that night but we dragged ourselves out of bed early so we could see Delos before we headed off to Paros. It is a small island about 30 minutes away that is filled with some of the best ruins I have seen in Greece.
We got down to the water taxi and thought sure we were going to miss our chance. The ticket line was filled with tons of people. Thankfully we made the boat.
Delos is incredible. It is the most in tact set group of ruins I have ever seen. We were fortunate enough to walk through the old temples, homes, and agora. Normally these are all blocked in other places we have gone.
Oh Liz we saw Cleopatras house.... well whats left of it. We spent a couple hours walking through the island exploring the ruins. Trying to avoid the mass of tour groups. Seems everyone decided to come today.
We headed bacl at 1:30 getting into Mykonos at 2pm. At this point we started to worry slightly. We had to race back to the other side of the island to our hostel where our bags were. Then we had o book it to the ferry to Paros all by 2:55. Luckily we made it with a couple minutes to spare only to find the ferry was late.
We are in Paros now it's a lovely place from what we have seen so far. Tomorrow we are renting a quad runner to explore the island. Then to cap the day we are going horse back riding along the beach.
Talk to you soon,
Michelle and Maura

Never trust people dressed as clowns!!
Well how was the bar?? You never told us if it was the best place to go....
you are going to need a vacation when you get back from vacation!
The bar was great. It was definitely crazy and really crowded. It was a good recomendation by Cynthia.
I heard that two American tourists traveling from Greece were stopped trying to smuggle human skulls in their luggage...that wasn't you was it? Apparently they thought they were faux skulls....surprise!! Hope you guys are having fun!!
Hi Maura, Hopefully you see this as you haven't been able to put anything on your blog. I really feel very strongly that you go see a Doctor there as you could have sometging really wrong. Pancreititis. Sorry for the spelling. Please get checked out.
