Well we surived the 3 planes, bus, and metro to arrive at our hostel by 7 pm. Needless to say we are both pretty tired. Though that won't stop us from checking out Athens a little before we crash.
Our hostile is located behind the Acropolis. What an amazing site to walk down a random side street and see the huge ruins.
Tomorrow we are going on a tour of Delphi. And for all you family members taking bets on me falling I'm happy to say I have not thus far. Though I did hit myself in the face when I tried to move the headrest on the flight to Madrid. Michelle got a laugh out of it.\(oh yes I did :-) )

All I can say is I'm glad that we finally made it. I was getting really tired sitting on planes. I just can't believe we are finally here. I'm really looking forward to Delphi tomorrow. I heard it is suppose to be amazing. Well we are going to go get some food maybe a little wine and then maybe call it a night. More from us soon.

YAY!!! Have tons of fun girls. Be safe and wish I was there. Maybe one day we can have a threesome (get your head out of the gutter people).

Marianne and I are so excited for you two, having been there less than two years ago It will be so much fun to relive some wonderful memories. Be careful don't drink to much ouzo (esp. Shelley).

See if there is a concert or any thing tonight at the amphitheater- acoustics are amazing. Even if you can't get in and wonder by
Or, find the night club that has nikkos vartis singing. His music is wonderful and he is darling.
If you go, the show doesn't start till almost midnight. It's like a variety show, crowd gets crazy as the show goes on. Too funny to watch the Greeks go wild.goes til about 5 am- traditional Greek show.
The plakka is wonderful in early evening when sun is almost down - cooled off and shop keepers are nicer then also. Ask for things made local vs china.
Any churches - no shorts and keep your shoulders covered.

Ven kataleveno alenica - I don't speak Greek

Yamas, cheers to life Cynthia
