Today we went from Jerusalem up the coast to Ceserea and Haifa.  The old city port of Ceserea is very well restored and preserved - we saw an aqueduct that just stands because it was built so well, the city it came from and its amazing mosaics and we set foot in the Mediterranean Sea!

Maggie found treasures of rocks and pottery sand had the great pleasure to ride a bike!  Leon has a folding bike and he brought it along - Maggie rode and was very happy.  We at lunch at the sea, as Maggie wanted to have fish.  She had Calamari, maybe the freshest ever, and then decided to eat my Saint Peters Fish instead.  we sat and watched the cats and digs everywhere on the boardwalk.  There are cats everywhere!  Maggie sees more than we do, but we see at least 15 a day.  We ate at Maxims, a very nice restaurant owned by an Israeli and an Arab, which had the misfortune to be bombed by a suicide bomber in 2006.  There was a soccer game that day, and most of the people killed were Arabs.  It was very sad, especially given the homogeneous mix of Muslim and Christian Israeli's with Jewish Israeli's in Haifa.  Apparently this is a very secular area, and they just want to make good business and happy lives.  We could see facilities for Intel, Microsoft and other, which seem to prove out the characterization.  Some problems remain,  but the vast majority seem to get along fine.

We then drove up to the Baha'i Gardens, which was another amazing site.  Haifa is built hanging off of a mountain, and the Baha'i gardens are an extremely well built garden built up the hillside.  The view from the top is something else.

After that we drove on and made it finally to the Galilee.

Maggie wanted fish again, so we ate dinner at a Kibutz along the Galilee sea.  It was wonderful.  That night we made our way to Ramot - up to the Gloan Heights, and the Sagi Family Holiday Village.  The best place we have stayed so far.
