Now I've met a few people who obsess over toilet paper. When you talk about travelling to SE Asia, everyone advises you to 'bring some toilet paper'. Now when you're in SE Asia it's true that its not often provided. But do you really need to travel with several rolls, tissues and wet wipes? They may not provide TP, but instead, there's a handy little hose coming out of the toilet or buckets of water with which you can clean yourself. Some may say that's gross, but I don't know...
Consider this: If you were walking through a farm and accidentally tripped and fell face first into a big pile of horse poo, what would you do? Reach into your pocket for a bit of toilet paper? Or get some water and wash?
I think it's clear which is the cleaner option! If you must, you can always take a handful or two when you find it at guesthouses - you don't need a 6 month supply with you! And besides, you'll save money and space in your backpack!
