Beautiful cycle along the hilly coast.  Tried several times to video parts of the tide for you to see, but the camera would have none of it.  Didn’t like the jostling or something…

Went through a few small towns and saw traditional making of the Bodhran drums and smoking salmon.  Also saw a few farmers raking and piling their hay by hand along the side of the road.  It was nice to be able to take our time and not be pressured to meet the next destination.

We reached Clifton in lots of time to browse the main street, set up camp, clean up, and…go for a bike ride!!!  LOL

We went along ‘Sky Road’ which is a long loop out one penninsula.  It climbs and climbs up to a point high above some cliffs overlooking the Atlantic.  The climb was long and hard, but  I was very proud for pushing through and not stopping.  The view was beautiful and we waved at Canada!  I was a little sad that we weren’t there for sunset to take some photos, but there was no way I was cycling it again!  (and we wouldn’t have wanted to go down that twisty hill in the dark)

Then we went into town for a well deserved meal and pint at a pub, and listened to music.  It was traditional Celtic, but only 2 musicians with guitar and accordian.  We were surprised how well they sounded with just those 2 instruments.  I managed to record a few songs this time, but again can’t upload, so we’ll have to wait to share!
