These few weeks at home in Ontario are going to be a very exciting time for us.  We have the opportunity to visit family and friends that we have not seen in years!  Must visit as many as possible, because after we 'jump the drink' we're not exactly sure when we will be returning...

While home, we were blessed enough to visit with our brand new, one-day-old nephew:  Ethan Austin!  Ethan is Brian's brother's youngest son born on May 27th.  What perfect timing!  We were worried that the birth would not take place until after we had left.  A wonderful time was spent together ooohing and aaaahing over the newest bundle of joy to join the family :)

Speaking of family, we were able to visit with our other nephew Noah.  I have not seen him since I was in Ethiopia for the adoption, so that was very special to catch up and see how much he has changed over this last year.  It's wonderful to be able to speak to him and have him speak back in English!

Weddings were also on the agenda for our time at home.  Brian's best friend from high school was getting married - and Brian was the best man (in title only he'll tell you).  A flurry of parties, rehearsal dinners, and receptions were the order of the day - for several days!  A beautiful setting along the shores of Lake Ontario at the sailing club we watched dear friends pledge their lives together.  One of the best parts for me was getting to see Brian in a kilt!  All looked wonderful on this special day.  It was great catching up with some old friends from high school and the many camping trips that Andrew has organized over the years.  Brian actually got out on the dance floor which was shocking and pleasing altogether!

We will have another wedding to attend in the next week as well!  Looks like party party party for us - what a great way to get ready for our adventures!
