Today we visited another medieval town called Ceske Budejovice. Walked around the town admiring the old buildings, In the square there were more Christmas markets, even a horse merry go round with real horses. With all the different foods on display it was hard not the get hungry, had a traditional big potato fritter served extra crispy.
Got back on the road heading over to Holasovice. Found our selves surrounded by loads of fog, spoiling the country side view! Safely arrived to the very nice heritage listed small town, all the buildings in uniform and loverly colours. Found a life size Christmas nativity scene carved out of tree trunks on the town's grassy centre. Met a very friendly puppy that wanted lots of attention, with no master about but obviously well loved. The fog started to lift so we thought of leaving but with it getting dark so early these days we decided to stay here for the night, a nice quiet car park with free wifi!
