Where I stayed
It is low season in Asia but that has been nowhere as obvious as it is in Sihanoukville. A bit lower and you could call it a Ghost town. It is a very quiet place at the moment, but we never planned to stay here for long.
There is not much to see, bars and pubs are pretty deserted and it rains too often to even bother getting the swim wear out. At least there are cheap internet cafes so that we can upload the photos from Siem Reap - by far our favourite place in Cambodia, so far.
There is a national park close to Sihanoukville, but because of my bad foot, which I have had for more than a month now, I can't wear shoes and explore the jungle. Anyway, it is getting better and I am not giving up hope that we can include some adventure hiking at our next stop in Kampot.
