Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't been in touch for a while but it seems like the hotter the country the more difficult it is to connect to the internet.
Anyway, in my last entry I mentioned that we were going "further South", which actually meant further South in Southeast Asia. I just couldn't give too much away in case my friend Clarissa would check out the blog. Our plan was to go to Bali to surprise-visit her.
We spent some really nice days in Kuta, just chilling out, having an amazing seafood dinner on the beach at sunset and enjoying some free drinks in a local club. It was a nice time which was over way too quickly and yesterday we had to kiss everyone goodbye cause they were moving on to Australia.
Today Jack and I made our way to the Gili Islands, which are not far away from Bali - an hour on the fast boat. They are even more beautiful - three little Islands where no cars or mopeds are allowed, traffic only consists of bikes and horses. Apparently the Gilis are a diver's dream so we are hoping to get our diving licenses here if our colds leave in time...otherwise snorkeling will have to do.
I will try to put up some pictures, also for the last blogs but I am not too sure yet if it will work out with this computer. I'll try my best.
