Maybe three days is too early to judge properly but Hanoi wasn't as amazing as we had expected. Maybe we were too spoiled from China but budgeting in Hanoi was almost impossible - no cheap street snacks, no bargaining, but instead high prices for fake brands and relatively expensive food.
Hanoi is a proper tourist place, we really weren't used to seeing so many Western faces anymore.
The city itself doesn't have as many sights or attractions as most capital cities. So after we had seen the corpse of Hoi Chi Minh in his mausoleum, we spent the rest of our time strolling through parks, indulging in ice cream and watching the colourful nightlife from a bar's balcony. So all together not too bad :)
