The Indian Visa Centre makes it easy to track the progress of our visa request online. Yesterday, we were very pleasantly surprised to find out that our passports would be available for collection on Thursday, (today), so in to the centre we went.
This time, there was no need to tear off a queue number, and we were issued our passports on arrival, and advised to check that the visas were O.K.
We checked the visas in each of our passports and they were O.K, and within a few minutes of our arrival at the Visa Centre, we were out of there. Many thanks to the Staff in the Indian Visa Centre. They run a great service there.
It must be borne in mind that Cunard had advised all guests (passengers) to obtain a single-entry Indian visa (3 month validity) prior to travel. However, the Indian Visa staff had said that a multiple entry Indian visa with a 6 month validity was the way to go, and that is what we did.
Next week, we will start the process of obtaining our visas for China.
