Today was a much needed "down" day.  It wasn't a very exciting birthday for Jim, but laundry got done, groceries got purchased, prescription meds refilled enough for the trip into Canada and Alaska, the car got a bath, and a windshield chip got repaired.

We did finish the day with the dinner Jim requested.  Jim grilled a beautiful rack of lamb that Jane coated with dijon mustard and garlic.  Jane prepared brussel sprouts with bourbon sauce and spinach salad.  Dessert was a brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce.  Oh yes, we had a bottle of our best special occasion wine.
