Where I stayed
Prarie Acres RV Park
Theodore Roosevelt National Park (North unit) was our site of the day. We pulled in with the motor home, unhitched at the park, and saw the park, and drove on to Williston. In the park, we finally got to see all the buffalo we had been looking for. We spent about two hours driving the park road, stopping at all the pull-outs. The park includes both the Badlands rock formations and grasslands. It was quite interesting. We saw grouse, the buffalo, and a couple of deer. It was not as rainy today, but still windy and chilly. The highs were in the low 50s, which is a little warmer, but normal highs are in the 70s. By evening, we saw some sun! From the park, we drove to Williston, arriving here about 3:30. The rest of the afternoon was for clean-up, planning the next few days, and catching up with computer work.
