Day 2 of our BIG ADVENTURE and Dave says it's my turn to blog.  We made one stop today at the National Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame.  There were lots and lots and lots of motorcycles.  My  favorite was Peter Fonda's Easy Rider bike.

We then headed towards LeClaire, Iowa--made one stop for lunch at a place called Desparado in Wheatland, Iowa and Dave had his first Hawaiian burger--TASTY!!

As the day went on the temp. rose and my patience started to shorten.  It was 93 degrees and Dave wanted to take a photo and as he tried to position the Model A just so--I started melting!  We had a little discussion about heat and standing still.

Now we are in our hotel room--I have the air conditioning on full blast and Dave is looking for a sweat shirt.

Our friends arrived and we went out for a supper by the river.
Came back to the hotel and opened a bottle of wine.

Dave says the odometer reads 56998.

Wow, so glad you will let us follow along with your trip.

I can just imagine the "discussion" you two had about standing still in the heat! It sounds like you are getting to see many interesting places and eating great food, too!
