Where I stayed
The next night we went on a pub crawl around Buenos Aires which was fun but with a welcome shot at each bar and cheap drinks it got messy really quickly. I met alot of other people from around the world there. The next day was just a write off, I was too hungover to do anything.
I heard about this amazing cemetry in Recoleta from friends and I thought i'd check it out thinking it'll be like a normal cemetry but when I got there I seen it was like a small village but for the dead.
On our last day we walked to the area of La Boca just out of the city center. The walk seemed fine to start off with as we walked through the city center but after a while the area seemed to get dodgier with hardly any people about and most of the shops had bars or boards on the windows. Just when we were about to call it and head back we arrived in the center of La Boca where we seen all these brightly coloured houses and people everywhere. It was a real tourist site spot. It was so colourful with houses painted bright reds, yellows, blues and greens with heap of shops and tango dancers up the streets, real nice spot. When we left we got a taxi just to be safe.
Argentina was full of really friendly people that really tried to help us cause a spanish was bad.
That night I split travelling with Clair, she flew back to Australia and I got another overnight bus to Santiago in Chile.
