A few days in the Kakadu National Park.  It's a huge area and you can't come all the way up here and not go there but frankly we prefered Litchfield, there was far more to do.  In this park there was a lot of Aboriginal culture and artwork which we were not really interested in, especially as there was a lot of walking involved, but with the temperature around 43 degrees (110 Farenheight) it was a little draining.

What we did enjoy was the birdlife and wetlands and we did a great tour at Corroboree Billabong (outside the park).  We stayed there a couple of days, the people were very friendly and we had a great time.  The wetlands were nearly dry but the concentration of birds in the little water there was made it all the more interesting.  We saw plenty of crocodiles so now we can move on to our next adventure!

We'll be back in Darwin for a while longer, still have things to see and do there.
