Where I stayed
Still at home
This will do for today, maybe by next weekend we could be ready to go on a short trip to one of the region's beaches, not too far from home, to test it out if the weather continues as it has been. So until then... bye for now.
After all the talk and anticipation, we have our 5th wheeler at last and we are very impressed with it. It was great getting it home and at our leisure, finding out all the little extras that we had missed, it was full of surprises. Lots of lights in all the little dark corners, inside and out and also lots of power points. The slide makes it so wide that you could have a dance in the middle of the kitchen! It's a very 'green' van, the bed mattress is made out of recycled plastic bottles, if you don't think about it you have a very good sleep, it's very comfortable. Instead of telling you all about it, I shall post photos and it will tell you more than any words. We've already been sleeping in it as it has ducted reverse cycle air conditioning so we set the the thermostat at around 20 degrees (70 degrees F.) and we've been nice a cosy, no need to light the fire in the house!! I've still been cooking in the house, I just don't want to get this new stove dirty! The shower is a good size, plenty of room to turn around. There is also a hot and cold shower outlet outside for when we return from the beach full of sand. There seems to be plenty of cupboard space but I haven't put too much in yet, it will be done over the next week.
