I pulled out of Murphy and drove up through the mountains to see Cherokee on my way to Asheville. It was a rainy drizzly day. I arrived at my cousin's home in the late afternoon/early evening. They were out of town, but had left a key for me to come in and make myself at home. I curled up in a blanket in the rocker and watched a movie while sipping tomato soup. Having gone from living alone to a month with a family of 6 + 3 turtles and a cat and then overnight with John, Gracie, Brit, Nathan, 4 dogs and a cat... I was ready for a little downtime.
