Hi everyone - Gorgeous day today  - full sunshine and the wind is calm!  Best weather day so far in this park.  We went to a GeologyTalk at one of the trails this morning, same guy as the Fossil Talk, and we headed out on a trail that we had not yet been on.  It amazes me that there are no restrictions for people to climb on the rocks, walk anywhere at all either on or off trail.  After the talk we walked along the rocks following markers in the ground guiding you to the end of this abutment.  It was cool to be sort of "inside" the rocks instead of just on the road or on a designated trail.  Still no Sheep, Goats, Buffalo or Mule Deer...an occasional rodent (?) and a bird or two.  We kept hearing of people seeing the sheep so they are around.  Hopefully in Custer we will have better luck.  I hear the road is still closed to the Buffalo viewing, so we are out of luck for today.

We also attended a solar sun talk and watched through a telescope - it was cool.  You could see the flares and the sun spots.  We are becoming so educated (I know, it's about time)!!!

So sorry about so many photos yesterday, I got carried away...Enjoy today's...

I know I already said this before, but we were lucky to be able to have internet at this cafe, but I'm not sure we will be so lucky at Custer, so if you don't hear from us, you will know why...and, we will be with our daughter Heather and grandsons, Lars and Trent for 9 days.  Gramma and Grampa will be busy or exhausted, I'm not sure which one will get us first.  Wine, anyone?
